This selection of pictures comes from a long-term work-in-progress to photograph my rapidly changing city of Nashville as well as the surrounding region, which bares evidence of the inverse reflection of this change in its stubborn constancy or slow decline. I often follow the rivers and streams that flow through the urban and encompassing rural environs to discover both stark contrasts and surprising convergence among the peoples and evolving landscape of my home.
